Easy way to get feathers?

Trying to get a lot of feathers to make a boatload of obsidian arrows. I know you can get feathers rarely from chopping trees down and from shooting birds when they land, but both are equally slow and uncommon so I was hoping for a better way

Birds in the meadows isnt hard or that slow, hunt birds for an hour in real time for 100s of feathers.

they should probably up the feather droprate in chests, the most ive ever found in a chest is 5, which for a dungeon chest is.. i mean cmon

Hunt birds in Meadows or in Dark Forest during the night. They will stay resting on the ground unless spooked, so you can easily measure your shots or spear throws, unlike the day time, where you pretty much only have one shot before they fly away.

Chests in ruins around black forest and meadows. You'll get a handful while shooting birds.

Weird to see so many people having problem with feathers, i have like 100+ and i never kill birds, i got tons of feathers by just opening chests and chopping trees.
Just use a bow to kill the birds on the floor if you need feathers, 3 feathers each bird.

just kill every bird you and you will have hundreds!

Also upgrade and use bow mostly and agility as well.
