Ship taking non-stop damage

Im new and i just build the boat (not the raft) but from the second i get into it. my screen keeps shaking as if i crashed into rocks, even in the middle of the sea. its non stop taking 10 damage from.. i have no idea what. what is happening here exactly?

currently that's a bug there ether aware of or in need of knowing about

Are you sure the shaking isn't from the immersive camera option in the settings?
Worst case just dismantle and rebuild the boat to see if that fixes it.

well after sailing for 10 minutes with nothing around, the ship just broke

Ya, its a bug, out of my group of 6 I have to run everywhere while they sail because they can use the boat but as soon as I get it continuous 10 damage ticks.

ooof, such an annoying bug, i hope they fix that fast. I suck at the game so resources are short. Already lost 10 karve's and i cant keep on making them. And the swamp i have to go to is across the water so i need a ship to get there. but the whole area there and around is way too hostile to make a base there.
