The most dangerous thing I have encountered so far is the auto save kicking in when bulding up very high. High.
At that point, either play god or savescum. I played god twice now I savescum. To my defense I was multitasking on another game on android emulator coz some mobile games have auto and I thought plains was meadows.
Imo the game should offer better mechanic for corpse run that is still possible no matter what the situation is. As much as I want to play legit, situation like this is intolerable and too wasting time for me. I'm up for a challenge but no to making a second third and so on set of same gears.

I play solo and I do fine, game is a bit grindy so dont rush just enjoy your stay in the game, it's small only 1gb so it can practically stay forever in your harddrive even in your ssd. You don't have to make progress everytime you play, even just doing chores like chopping woods, stockpiling stones, filling up food storage, fermenting stuffs, planting stuffs, then call it a day is fine.
If you try and race in this game, you're gonna have a bad time, and you'll end up being one of the guys posting about how the swamp or its boss is too hard.
It is more difficult in terms of management though. When you have a friend or two, who can specialize for certain activities and playstyles, everyone gain higher skills in their own avenues and work more effectively for mutual benefit.
Difficulty scaling seem to be well-balanced.
It is ok. Go sit in the corner and think about what you did.
