How to beat a goblin village after killing Moder

First off, the required items are the Abyssal Harpoon, Iron Sledge, decent pick, full silver armor, and a very good meal(preferably 100hp or above). Start off by finding a goblin village and digging a deep hole in the ground with an area in the middle big enough to jump on nearby. Second, build a wood platform in the middle, don't worry about the goblins destroying the workbench, it won't be important afterwards. Don't place it on the platform since you need room to jump on and off the platform. Now that the trap is ready scout the village for shamans and brutes. Attract the attention of the brutes by shooting them and luring them over to the hole. Once they are in range, harpoon the brute and jump onto the wooden platform in the middle of the hole. This will get it in the hole where it is harmless(if the hole is deep enough). As for the shamans, you can one-shot them with a Draugr Fang paired with a needle arrow. For most regular goblins you harpoon them into the pit with the same method as the brutes. Be cautious about the spear goblins. After most of the village is cleared out and trapped in the hole. Pop out the Iron Sledge hammer and get to work. It will take a while to drain their health but is a much more viable option than using arrows.

or use arrows and pick off the stragglers with melee weapons and be done in a fraction of the time this bizarre method would take

or just take a bunch of 1 and or 2 star wolves set to follow with you & Leroy Jenkins that village like a true champ. Each to their own.

Bow and Arrow is infinitely easier and faster than your method.

Shouldnt get many adds if you choose your targets.

Um....frost arrow while in sneak mode, then hit the stragglers a few times wtih the frost hammer. Done...
If you get three on you, just run and thin out the crowd

Bow, pick them off one by one, profit. No need to do things a harder, longer, more complicated method.

That does sound like a fun thing to do to make a gobbo-mosh pit! Not the most practical for clearing, but fun and silly. Personally I snipe with arrows first, focusing on shamans, then when they finally charge me I'll kick on Bonemass's power and wade in mace a swingin'!

The reason I find the sledge more practical is so you can reserve arrows. To be honest it takes quite a while but I usually do this strategy with a friend who also has the sledge and it goes much faster.
