cuz I get stuck in death-after-death tryin to get back to my desperately needed stuff and it only wants to keep showing me last death!

It helps to mark the location of the death with the good loot.

When getting back to it try to pick up just one item so when you die again you will leave a death stone; the death stone gives a buff that raises defense and health regeneration greatly. Run in the same direction and you should be heading toward the loot you want.

old armor/ food should help you survive when combined with the death run effect of picking up a death stone.
