Valheim

This game shouldn't cost $20...
It should most definitely cost $40+. Its an early access that hardly feels like an early access. I've only beaten the first boss, but it feels like Valheim is a full game already (at least to todays standards). Can't wait to see what they end up adding to the game.

It's a phenomena,
It's a phenomenon. Or to be more precise, the success of this game's first three weeks

Dude you just wrote the same word differently spelled that has the exact meaning lol, expect of course it's in singular form, big deal. - sorry, I just can't help it

If we are going to throw around, here is something for you Феноменом or Fenomenom as it's said where I am from, happy now?

It's not gaining anything it's dropping considerably, with baby size gains since first 3 weeks of whole hype train.

Second of all Riworld never amassed the number or success this game did (especially in frist week or two) and why is that ? And never will. Get real, man. This game would go down the same way as Rimworld (that at it's all time peak had max 41k players and much smaller sale numbers) if the price tag was as steep as Rimworld's. - rimworld is consider niche success but it's bad and pale comparison.

Now don't bother replying to this. I said my piece you said your piece, Enjoy the game and share your opinion further :)

I think the price point is perfect, and makes the game much more attractive for massive buying.

At $40 being indie and EA? A completely different story. Not that content-wise is not worth it, but it would not have been such a hit.

Valheim's early access is more finished then a EA game 5 patches into the game

I was thinking about buying it but a friend gifted it to me before I did so I cant really say much. I will say I wouldnt even consider buying an early access game at $40.

When bosses have more than 3 slow attacks and when the awful hit detection gets patched, we'll be on the road to leaving Early Access quality.
How is the hit detection awful? Seems fine.

He's probably referring to being on uneven ground.
I agree as a new player the game feels rich, but after progressing far you realize how limited it really is. Game has massive potential, but as of right now 20$ really is the right price for it.

The reason they've been able to hit 5 million Vikings is because of the price. $20 is a great price range to hit a bigger audience. A parent will be more willing to spend $20 on a game for their kid, and a lot of broke college kids have a spare $20. With the current content, plus the quality of some of the visuals, it's not worth more than $20. Once it's fully polished, with more content, and no longer early access, than it absolutely should go up in price.
