Frequency of Crypts

How many do you find on average in a swamp? Been hearing a lot of complaints from friends. Guess I can agree for the most part. However, around my Bonemass is a decent sized swamp with 22 Sunken Crypts and 5 surtling spawners. Did I hit the jackpot or this not unusual?

In my experience totally random

I have had random swamps attached to starting island with over 10 sunken crypts

But also I have had bonemass swamps with no crypts at all :D


(BTW burial crypts are the black forest ones, on swamp they change name to sunken)

Have found swamps with zero crypts and swamps with over 5 crypts and few surtling spawners so it is random.

I had one seed I restarted because I visited 3 large swamps and didn't find a single crypt, pist me off. The next seed I made I found 8 crypts within the first medium sized swamp I found.

I guess it just varies.

Exactly the same experience here too.
