Tree seeds

Is there a way to farm seeds? I'll be honest I can't tell if they come form the trees or the grey dwarf. I can cut 10 trees and not get seeds but if kill those grey dwarf they drop I think. I'll walk around and then pick one up.

You can farm a few types of trees (Fir,beech & pines) they drop from chopped tree's not those annoying greydwarves :)

What the person above said, as for plant seeds. You can find them like Carrot seeds in the Black forest, and once you grow a plant, you can replant it (carrot) to get a seed bush which will give you 3 more seeds so it's like a multiplying effect.

Does tree seeds also lay on the ground? I wan't to reafforest but if i have to kill more trees I can plant the plan won't work.

i don't think you can grow more tree seeds, but at least there's plenty of forest to find on every island. if you need to, you can make a portal into the center of a forest too

"Tree Respawn" https://www.nexusmods.com/valheim/mods/37 will, if the tree has seeds already in the game, plant a sapling if you remove the tree stump. Nice to maintain the look of the place.

ive planted 100's of trees, At least 350 so far. if you collect a lot of wood youll get enough seeds to make your own forest.
