Character auto running non stop

I have an issue where my character literally wont stop running. I've tried restarting the game and my computer a few times but nothing works. In the menus, it also is scrolling up through the options non stop, as if my W key is stuck, but it isn't.

Does anyone else have this issue or know of a fix?

autorun is on Q by default, so maybe that key stucks?

Tried hitting the autorun key but didn't work. No controller plugged in either :/

i have exactly the same problem and nothing seems to fix it out, i'm not really able to change controls as i wish too

I had the same issue. it is any peripherals that is giving input to your game.
unplug usb hubs and dongles you have inserted in your pc at the moment.

plug in only yourr keyboard and mouse.
Restart the game and it should be fixed.

I have simracing gear, and altough not using it, it was still sending in the background thru arduino (i guess) signals to this game.
I reckon any flight simulator gear or other controllers cause this issue aswell. Turning it off is not enough, the usb connection t really has to be unplugged.

other game that suffers from it is Firewatch. Other games seems to not have the issue.
hopefully they fix it in the longer run
