Are the layouts of dungeons procedurally generated too?

they layout is/was seeded
same seed same layout
atleast on beginning of year.
the items, probally mostly the same (cores) chests probally random but not sure.

yep. I've had everything from 2 rooms of nothing to like 30 rooms of stuff.

Same here. First couple swamp crypts were just a couple rooms. Was thinking iron was gonna take forever. Last 2 crypts had a ton of iron in them. Took 3 or 4 trips, even with a cart, to empty them.

identical world seeds will not produce identical dungeon interior layouts on each identical map... the dungeon location (on the map) is generally in the same place, but the interiors will be random each time, and vary (randomly) in size and number of rooms etc.
