So your saying its not common with the game, only happends for me with this game. I'll try removing the antivirus, I already disabled it to see if it would help. I've read on the forums that some of the game processes are being identified as trojans.
My suspicion is that it would crash on the world update, so i'm thinking its the antivirus. I had it crash twice while trying to sleep and from all the crashes I can tell when u sleep it general acts as a type of character save point. My comp has plently mem and cpu etc... game dosen't even heat it up and it would crash normally during downtimes, not while fighting.
yeah that was my issue. try completely disabling any antivirus, dont even load it up in the background with scan off and make sure your video driver is updated. Seemed to work for me today. I'll let you know if i have any more crashes but i just played for 3 hours with a crash, thats like a record.
IRQL_not_less_or_equal.
Pc is 2080 rtx super and a decent i9 and its worked find on all other games since it was built.
Just an update. Still crashed however, now i'm running a dedicated server on my same pc i'm playing on without any crashes.
You have fwd port 2456-2458 on ur router and connect to the server through the steam using view, servers.
Seems to work flawless now but who knows maybe i've been lucky lately.
Im having an issue with my server being viewed by friends but can join it through me via steam. any suggestions?
No. Not sure who your provider is but personal use is fine. They just dont allow proxies and tunneling or you to run a business. If the bandwith got ridiculous they might have a problem with it.
basically the "dedicated server" comes with another stipulation that means a dedicated machine that conceals the transmissions of data for people.
they can't join it? does it have a ping or say not responding? when they put in the password does it load up to the character screen then ask for the password again?
As long as they are putting in the right password my best guess is that you have teh world name the same as the seed name, that doesn't work on the server. I think its the name and seed anyway, just change teh name of the world or server and it should work.
