How to build a cultivator (or how do I START FARMING?)

I have the forge, all the bronze weapons and armor, upgraded the forge 3 times, and I still can't find a way to build a cultivator or start farming.

core and fine wood is probably what you need (for the handle of the tool)

its in the forge? lol. about half way down the list, you need bronze and wood.

No I still can not find it...

I'm currently trying to figure out why when I farm my carrots, I don't even get a single seed back (to grow a new crop with). I also wasted about half my seeds the first time because the carrots were "too close together to grow" (but it didn't tell me till long after they were planted.... Ugh

You need core wood and fine wood to unlock the cultivator. Core wood can be found in the dark forest by cutting down Pine Trees. Fine wood can be gathered from Oaks or Birch(White trees with black horizontal stripes.

Ive found it takes about 3 in game days for crops to be ready for harvest.
