Is there a way to take the seeds out of a grown carrot to keep regrowing the field?
If not, would be a really nice feature to keep a nice farmland going.

Carrots are biennial plants and don't flower until their second year, so if the devs wanted to be realistic, you’d have to leave your carrots in the field for double their harvest time and then choose to collect the seeds then.

I mean, I'd be totally okay with that really. Like in LiF or Medieval Dynasty, there was definitely seasons to work with when it came to fieldwork. So if they include that, that's fine with me! I just like to have the option to pull seeds or not, whether seasons are included or just a simple "cut carrot = seeds" kinda deal.

As far as I can tell there's no seed harvesting from already planted crops. Although I do hope for a system that allows it, however complex it'll be.

You can plant the carrots again and harvest 3 seeds when they're ripe

I've plucked carrots when they're ripe but haven't gotten any seeds from doing such. Unless you mean being ripe is another stage after they're ready to be harvested?

When you harvest a carrot for the first time, you get a "seed carrot" plant. That uses 1 carrot for 1 plant. When the plant grows and flowers, you get 3 carrot seeds back. Plant those seeds to get actual carrots, and the process repeats itself. Just make sure to always save a few carrots for the seed carrot plants and you'll have unlimited carrots.

This was already answered but I am throwing in my hat to reinforce those answers:

Plant carrot seeds and wait for carrots to grow (Say 6 carrot seeds)
Once carrots are mature you will pick (6 carrots)
You will now have a new option with cultivator to plant "carrot seed plant"
Plant all your carrots (6 carrots)
Once plants are mature you will pick (18 carrot seeds)
