Surtling Core remove this!!!!!

I've been in 3 burial grounds and still haven't found a single one. Not only is this a poor idea to require for smelting they seem to be like winning the lottery for finding them. They bring nothing to the game and quite frankly am sick of being stuck in the stone age for a magical rock that can only be found if your lucky.

You just got unlucky, got about 10 cores from the first 4 dungeons.

I got lucky i went into one burial ground and came out with 10 cores

Maybe you're just not seeing them. They are on the top of what look like torch poles. I've found pearls in dungeons as well, they just look like small pebbles on the floor. I nearly missed them.

I have explored about 10 dungeons and I have found this item (3) in only one of them. It's rare.

I found heaps easy as, it's good to have something hard to get for the higher tier items.

I have never had any of the crypts on my world NOT have at least 2, just have to go through each path.

If you go to the swamp you will find these fires shooting out of the ground. Around these fires Surtlings will spawn. They are easy to kill with 1-2 hits (or they kill themselves just by touching water). They will drop coal and cores. Easy peasy :)

They shoot fireballs but you can block them with a shield or stand behind a tree.
Best time to fight them is during rain cuz they cant set you on fire.

A couple ingame days. On our server another player was able to go in there and all the loot respawned. Without Skellies!
