Finding flint

Hello,

Trying to figure our where to find flint. I read that it is located between water (sea also?) and land but in 3 hours of play I managed to get 2..

Is mining possible in this game to break rocks or something and gather more resources? Are there mining caves?

How do you collect most metals and stones?

theres a ton near creeks

you can find flint by sources of water

It's absolutely everywhere at waterlines. Smooth, grey rocks.

check in meadow areas near banks

As others have said - flint is scattered all around bodies of water - its quite literally everywhere near rivers and the shore.

It's quite easy to find, but like scraps of hide from boars, it's annoying. You'd think/hope that via tools there' be a way to increase the yield of it as i find myself constantly looking for both it and hide scraps.

Agreed, either a tool/skill to increase yield over time or a better source for both would be quite helpful.
