troll spawn inside my base and totaly destroy 13 hours of my hard work when i was outside

how to prevent from this in future? Destroy my base is one thing but he also destroy all my chest with my all precisous stuff what i collect from begining of the game :( . nothing left to stay!! items sholud be drop on the ground after that i think! this is very unfair! i fell hype for this game but i hate to loosing all my stuff :( this killing all my fun from game :((
should be button in options like in The Forest "prevent buldings from destroy" and thats it.... devs please add this as quick as you can ....

This is because enemies can't jump and they can't damage the ground either. so digging a pit 4-5 blocks down is a good way to stop anything from touching your base.

yeah if they just vanished as soon as the chest was destroyed then that sounds like a bug, i always find it on the ground where the chest was

I also go trolled... literally. When I returned to my base I had a troll spawn inside next to my bed (workbench was next to it). The area is fully covered with workbenches and buildings so...yeah I got trolled for sure

my meadows base got invaded and it "smelled like the swamp" was Draugar and skeletons attacking, the Dwarf's came to my defense :D
