Single Player Gameplay
The game seems really fun, but unfortunely my friends don't like these types of games, so i'll have to play just by myself (I'm a really shy and an introvert, so i prefer not to know more people just to have someone to play with), is the game good even for single players?

It's much easier solo than with friends, there are less mobs and less 1-2star mobs.. if you find it too easy you can increase difficulty by pressing F5 and typing

imacheater
players 2

I wish there was a better way of doing this because it seems to reset everytime you logout and back in..

I've been playing by myself and it gets pretty tough in places - like the mountains or the swamp. I ended up in a low iron world, so I found a seed for a world with iron and I going iron world and mine in the crypts, get over loaded with iron, then log out and log into my own world and I'm standing next to the forge.

Maybe there needs to be a list for people looking for a pick up game as I can see the need. I guess that unless i put everything into personal chests that some players would just loot all my stuff and leave,

I like playing solo.

i don't think it is too hard - just hard - so it is a bit slow solo - i have bases all over the place but i really enjoy the building and crops etc more than the fighting. i have spend a lot of time going after my body with all my gear, but there is a mod that lets you keep stuff when you die.

Pro tip- a good bow does wonders

All my friends and buddies lost interest in gaming as years passed. In my 40s now, all games I play and own, I make sure it fundamentally supports single player. 100 over hours, enjoying take my own time, farming, designing my base, organizing my loots, exploring the land, sea and the caves/crypts/dungeons etc.

Yeah I actually dislike playing with other people because you always have to do what they want to do and you go along with the flow rather then doing things at your own pace. This is why I always played Diablo 2 solo I preferred exploring maps rather then going straight for boss runs.

Today I beat the last boss, solo'd the whole world seed.

Just make sure you fully exploit each biome in turn. Upgrade your armor, your bows (maybe skip the Huntsman), and at least the maces. When you go to "current" biomes, eat the best foods you can make, and always have a poison resistance mead or two in the swamps. Build outposts in areas you're currently exploring, just little 3x3 shacks with beds and benches for repairs.

I mention those things because the part that's gonna suck is when you die, and you haven't built a second boat or backup gear to go and get your stuff. That's the real nuisance of single player, cause it's all on you.

Totally doable though, I loved it.
