No, but it is not the first time I see someone thinking they got fine wood and they have ordinary wood, or iron nails and they have bronze nails.
Ancient bark is difficult to miss though.
Edit: No need for them to be in your inventory for the longship to show, only to confirm if there is a bug.
If you have a screenshot and is not showing with the correct mats, report the bug.

Those are the ingredients that can trigger the recipe being added. It will be triggered when you pickup the 4th one, no matter what order you discover them. You don't need all 4 in your inventory at once. The game just counts them off as you discover each one, and when you finally pickup the 4th one, the recipe discovery will pop up.
