Console commands

Good day! I have thoughts on creating a map with challenges, but for it I need functionality like summoning creatures or building up the map with trees, ores, etc. Is there a way to do this through the console or in some other way?

You can spawn items and mobs using console commands. However you can not ''build'' a map. Both items and mobs will eventually despawn. You can find specific seeds online for maps with special properties. That might be the best way. Or mods.

Thank you for your reply. I meant that I would generate a world and create some objects I needed in it through the console. Don't you know how to summon creatures?

The spawn console command. For example:
spawn [Internal ID] [quantity]
No idea how to spawn anything except 0 star.
For Internal IDs of creatures you can check https://valheim.fandom.com/wiki/Creatures

To spawn items, type spawn in the console, followed by the item you want, followed by the amount of that item. For instance, if you wanted 50 coal, you would type:

spawn Coal 50

mportant note: items are case-sensitive! Also note, some items are not fully implemented in the game yet. Items won't appear in your inventory but beside you.

0 star = 1 level
1 star = 2 level
2 star = 3 level
3 star = 4 level
etc

spawn Wolf 3 501
will spawn 3 wolves with 500 stars each (stars higher than 2 aren't visible, but let them hit you... you will see 500 stars)
