Seeds need to be places 1m apart.
To get the spacing right use 2m beams to create a grid of squares. Plant seed in the middle of each square. Wait a few days. Harvest crops.
If you have seeds or carrots place them in your inventory.
Then right click screen and select either of these.
harvest without cultivator using E. the instructions on the right. Use the orange carrot to plant more seeds.. Its a little illogical you have to use the orange carrot to plant carrot seeds.
I space them according to the size of the leaf when grown.

Use your cultivator to recultivate from rightclick select cultivate ground brown circle and then plant fresh again with a small space as you can see in my screeny. Its not needed usually.
The problem is when you use middle mouse button without the tool, you hit with your right foot and the carrot is destroyed, you don't have the seed back inside your inventory.
When you have your tool equiped, you can read on the right side of the screen 3rd mouse button to remove, but when I target the carrot and use middle mouse button, nothing happens. When you use it when building, you destroy what you are targeting, here it does nothing, it's why I asked the question.
Ok, thank you, next time i'll put the seeds in the ground with more space between each seed :)
