bigger ships

hey yall, i was sailing in my long boat and i was thinking. yes the long boat is the biggest boat, but what if..... pirate ships. i would love to hop on with my friends a get on a boat and do sailing. will this be a thing?

One time I was watching this movie about 3 guys trying to catch a shark. One of the guys said that they would also need a bigger boat. He wasn't kidding because due to the smallness of their boat one of them died. It was horrible but ultimately there was a happy ending.

As for the OP...I think there's another ship in the code but can't craft it at this time.
Eventually there's going to be a 'Ships and Sea' update so maybe we'll see more types of ships. Hoping anyway.

Personally, I'd like to see a canoe...something fairly speedy that doesn't rely on the wind, but with limited or no storage.

Dear OP, there is a pretty awesome looking larger ship in the codes but it is unfinished.

I am hoping the Ship & Sea update will not only bring in maybe one or 3 new vessels, but also the along awaited Ocean boss mob.

No. Valheim does not need larger ships with multiple decks. That is an unhealthy megalomania. I want to be able to build my ship how I want it. I want sails for different purposes, I want my longship to be my spawnpoint if I die far away from my bed. I do not want boats becoming mobile bases.

I just want to be able to customize my ship cosmetically. Longship is fine with me, but let me adorn it with banners or paint or trophies in a few spots or whatever.

Also, not strictly a ship thing, but I would love to have a spyglass tool.

I'm okay with the long ship as well, but I too would really enjoy cosmetic upgrades, as well as some form of advanced lighting like being able to add a torch the front and back or something.

What do you mean by pirate ships? Vikings basically were iron age pirates, so by extension you could say that viking longboats were frequently pirate vessels. Or are you saying that you want galleon-type ships from the 17th century in this game?
