Searching for the May Pole

Hello All, Im searching for the May Pole and wondering if there is an icon that will pop up on my map display when Im close (like the trader's icon). I thought I heard that there is one in every seed, and I would like to confirm that with anyone that is in the know.

Maypoles have a random chance of spawning in abandoned meadow settlements.
I played on maps where i didn't find any at all, other maps had multiple of them.
There won't be any sort of popup though.

Ive been playing for awhile and defeated the last boss a couple weeks ago. I dont think my seed is a very good one, but Im going to stick with it and deal with what fate has given me.

I suspect that you can someday build it yourself because there is a recipe for it in godmode. I'm waiting for the day uu. My first maypole I destroyed because I hoped I could then build it myself xp.

Not every seed has a maypole, so you may never find one on the map you're using. It's either random luck, or use the Valheim map website to check if your map even has one.

On my original playthrough with +/- 500h, no maypole found. Turns out the map didn't have one to find anyway.

Second playthrough on a new, random map, I found a maypole about 10-15h in just randomly exploring.

I wouldn't stress too much about it... all it does is add +1 comfort level.

Thanks for that advice. There isnt much else for me to do know until they update with some new bosses, thats what brought about this desire to find one. I will check out the map website.
