Padded armor vs Wolf armor
AFAIK padded armor slows you down more, but has way more armor points, is max wolf armor enough for the last boss?

I can't say I've noticed a difference in movement, but you will notice a serious upgrade in level 4 padded armor set vs level 4 wolf armor set.

Why would you not use padded armor instead of wolf for the last boss? Sure it can be done, but i don't understand the reasoning behind it.... Chug a fire res pot, bow frost arrows kite and your done.

Wolf Armor and padded armor have the same movement penalty.
Wolf Armor weighs more than padded armor tho.
And yes, if you value the aesthetics of the wolf armor set over the increased armor protection from the padded set, you "could" do the last boss with it.
It all depends on your prep and tactics..

Would like more testing from others, but it seems the lox cape can provide enough frost resistance to replace the wolf armor and still enter mountains.
Other than aesthetics there's no reason to stay with wolf once you've raided some flax.

Yes, that is exactly the case.

The final boss is almost solid fire damage. Pop a fire resist mead and you'll be fine unless you just stand there and let him smack you.

None of the frost resistances stack. You just need one. Being wet removes your immunity to cold and freezing no matter what you have.

I would recommend padded armour only for the other creatures in the plains. But if you clear the area around the spawn you should be all good with wolf armour so long as you have fire resist.
