Spear or Javelin: A Whiny Discussion

Dev, I love the game but boy do i have a bone to pick with you considering the spears. Why that short of a range? I know they do the overhead grip thing but it's shorter than the sword... i think. At least that's how it feels.

When I whine about this to my friend, they said it's because we can throw the damn things and it's quite good thrown... Well if this is the case then make it a javelin, and allow us to stack like 5 or 10 of it then. Or allow us to craft a bag that allows us to stack the "spears". That could be a thing, right?

Anyway that's all I want to gripe about. It's still a cool game and my friends and I love it. Thanks a bunch and keep up the good work.

I really wish that throwing a spear auto refilled the slot from inventory. I'd gladly carry around a few.

to some extent i agree however the main attack is a downward pierce attack rather than a thrust , no thrust implemented , hence range is short i use the secondary throw attack a lot as your friends pointed out, so theres the range. i prefer the spear because it keeps everything close , some irony huh
