Need more personal inventory
We really need someway to get more personal inventory slots. Make it part of a quest or something but after needed armor, weapons, and some food items I've only got maybe half my inventory available. Even one more row would be fantastic.
I have the belt so I can carry up to 450lbs or so but the space is the issue.

Also, when are we getting achievements or quests?

There are mods for that. Your choice as to whether to use them.

The point is it would be nice to have it without mods, and hopefully they will add it eventually as I gotta admit even with the belt I find myself running out of space quite a bit because there are so many things, and even the carry capacity isn't enough when you start lugging around metals and want to build in stone. It's kind of telling that when I want to craft armour I normally have to stagger over to the forge overweight.

A pack animal would mostly solve the same problem.

The mod to give you gear slots so your armor isn't in inventory is a great one. Also gives you three quick slots you can put potions in, which is a life saver during fights. Best and most practical mod in the game imo.

Don't we already have ten quick slots?

Yeah and mine are all filled up with weapons and tools. And it's a lot quicker to hit Z right below the movement keys to drink a health potion after a two star fuling just whacked you down to 10 health.

Yeah I agree, ways to increase inventory (even as in-game goals) would be great. Or at the very least I'd love to have armor & equipped items not take up normal inventory space. But I don't see it happening, this is what we get.

There are mods but they're risky for people who switch back and forth from inventory mods to vanilla, you lose any items in those extra slots (or increased stack sizes.)

Have you considered looking on your favourite mod site for a mod to help increase your slots?.

NOT at all possible with out a mod or mods running at this stage of game development. *SIGH*

The developers have marked this request as "not planned" last I checked the bugs/requests site.

Hopefully never. The game doesn't need achievements, and already has all the quests it needs: the quest to rid Valheim of Odin's enemies.

Yeah a backpack that adds say 12 slots but can only hold unfabricated stuff and it replaces any form of cape. Every upside has to have a downside imho, keep things balanced and such
A backpack would be an awesome feature and keep to the era of the game. Another idea would be if different sets of clothes/armor gave you different "pocket slots" or something so you had to choose between a higher armor stat or more carry space depending on what you're doing.

I would agree on the quests portion. You're right that the game already has the quests that it needs and I like that it's more sandbox style. For achievements I was thinking more along the lines of steam achievements. It looked lonely in my library as one of the only games without them. Certainly not needed but it would be neat to at least keep a record in game of how many of each type of mob you killed or how many times you died. Stuff like that.

You have half your inventory available? After grabbing arrows, weapons, armor, and potions I usually have two or three empty inventory slots if I'm lucky lol. Yeah we def need more inventory

Maybe it would be a possibility to buy a "backpack" at the merchant, so you can equip this instead of the weight addon.
