It was an obvious joke. When someone reports someone else for a stupid reason, they should be the one banned.

Würger solution is working, somehow. You reported him because he gave you a working advice ?

The answer is
The game is if you didnt disable it in the steam cloud.
If thats the case you can install the game on any PC and you will have your savegames

If you disabled the cloud you have only the local savegames in the folder
C:\Users\Your win ID\AppData\LocalLow\IronGate\Valheim

These savegames should not be deleted by uninstalling, but to be sure i would backup these savegames

That said
Never eat bread in front of your PC. Or the game with all savegames will be deleted.
Vikings hate bread

I do not trust the steam cloud. Back up your world and character files somewhere. Honestly, why bother uninstalling though? 98% of the disk space is your save files and even that is small if you do not visit dozens+ of worlds.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I'm fine with him deleting my comments. I was being a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to him. Granted.
When people censor you because they do not like your honest oppinion (which happens often enough, but not in this case) it is way worse, if you ask me.

Now I'm getting serious:
In 99% of cases (I would almost say in ALL cases) the savegames are either stored in another directory as your game files are, OR the savegames do NOT get deleted, when you deinstall the game, although they are stored in the same directory...

Of course, backups are a good thing in the rare case that your harddisk (and data) gets trashed, somehow...

thank you for the answer appreciate it, need a fast solution, not in the mood for jokes back then

When you remove ones ability to speak, it doesn't prove them wrong, it proves you fear wha they might say.
