There are mild combat tactics in place, nothing more currently.
All of which can thwarted with a shield btw.
There are no cool building mechanics utilizing pulleys or ropes, redstone, or even traps.
Basic construction which utilizes some mild gravity-like physics.
So structural integrity is a thing-
There isnt much in the game currently and everything you do revolves around mining, which is extremely grindy, if your into that kind of thing.
Valheim is in a very early state
I highly recommend waiting at least a few months. More like a year to be honest.

Put it this way .. it took 140 hour of gameplay for me to start slightly getting bored of it and I get bored easily with games.
