Its more that you have to be cautious, keep an eye out for deathsquitos, they like to swoop at you in pairs while your fighting something else.
Those 2 star furlings can 1 shot you, so have a good shield and upgrade it. Parry block is very useful against furling.
If you're trying to clear a village i would recommend putting a portal nearby (not tooclose though!) And don't pull the whole village, just shoot one furling near the edge and you should only draw 3 or 4 at a time.
Those are my tips. After mastering the mountain and getting full silver gear we felt invincible. We died a lot in the plains
Your weapon of choice, silver tier. Good food and meads for hp/stam.
I recommend silver aswell, best fully upgraded, 2 stars can still mess you up pretty bad and fast then if you make a single mistake.
Yeah I could've phrased that better - I meant it's less of a grind to get silver.
