How do us old guys without phones join discord? you can't even pm a mod.

You can join Discord via your browser on your computer too! As a fellow oldster, I actually use it through the desktop app instead of through my phone. Give that a try, hopefully it sorts you out.

sorry I should have been more specific. I have discord. I can't join the Valheim channel without a phone. :)

Ahh! Well I don't know what the issue could be. I didn't have Discord on my phone when I joined the VH discord, I just copy & pasted the invite link manually into the "Join a Server" dialogue box you get when you hit the + sign on the left menu, within Discord. Sorry, can't help further on this one I think. Good luck!

you can join but you can't speak, and can't even pm a mod apparently without a phone #

apparently even the mods are to important to deal with channel issues if you don't have a phone

Verify your phone with Discord and then you can join the server. The requirement is in place for a reason.

Just give up. Us old people are just being excluded over time. Heck I can't even get a guy out to do house repairs without a phone that can message. They just want you to text the address and act like you are from mars if you can't do that.

I just flat out refuse to use discord at all. Steam is already running and has its own voice thing.. don't see a reason to run another application.
