The dear in game definitely bark more like dogs.
lol I agree on the 'prettier' part. After going thru a lot of youtube deer sound videos and my own hunting experience deer are usually much harsher in their bleeting or quite a bit higher in pitch. I've also noticed the lack of snorting which is a common alarm signal.
I think the devs are missing a chance to scare the krapp out of players as many deer sounds are straight out of a horror movie. Having one of the boars come up behind you and squeal while you're sneaking can be quite the heart pumper.
