Buying supplies, is this a thing?

hahaha i kinda love this idea. I suggest putting it in the LFG area too you can find it on the right hand side of the main discussion board, you'll get more direct attention from players looking to server hop.

I have boxes full of all smelted metals on a seed where the game crashes every 5 -10 minutes. I don't think your money is any good to me.

I already had a reinforced box full of iron, but i needed three chain to finish my shield. i went to a crypt to get the chain, and came out with 193 iron scrap from a single crypt. Just braggin' ;D

On the contrary; there's Ymir flesh. You only need 5 for Frostner but you need about 15 I think to fully upgrade the sledgehammer. But I'd be willing to invest in more coin on the chance that it will become more relevant after a future update. Makin' them money moves.

I think we could use another NPC like the Trader, but called a Collector (or something like that). Then we could sell unwanted items to the Collector (for tiny sums, because we all have a lot of something we don't want).

Then it would make sense that this Collector has a certain amount of supplies to sell when you visit him. So you cannot buy ALL the resources that you need. For example, the NPC might have 500 stone to sell, but when you buy it all, it would take some time for the Collector's inventory to reset.

This NPC could also have some neat cosmetic/decorative items to sell, but only 1 type available until the next time inventory resets -- there could be several things he sells and they'd be on a rotation, or even random every time the inventory resets.

If you are short on something and don't want to do the work to collect/farm it then just use the console to spawn in all you want of it.

In all seriousness, just had a line of things I wanted to earn through buying/selling/trading.

Starwing has a has a point, we kinda need a side trader that sells rare supplies. Just fruit for thought really.

Belkinhert, its mostly Flax, to plant, and stone to build up safe areas in hostile locations. Despite my well-equipped...ness (Lol) I am still running into issues with Hostile mobs, and its showing through my soft exterior xD

I offer to buy because I don't want to use the console, for this reason alone; There are too many games, I cheat in and I wanna at least earn items through trade or other legitimate sources. (Buying is a legitimate source in my opinion)

I've got hundreds of flax ready to go that I never bothered to spin and also close to 1000 stone sitting around in a pile at my base.
