does grey dwarves drop other than regular wood?
I'm looking at videos to build myself the grey dwarf farm, and one of the videos show them dropping more than a regular wood.

do they drop fine wood & ancient wood as well?

but they only drop regular.

I wish they dropped something special... something worth farming. The resin is nice but we've got no shortage of that.
I couldn't agree with you more. I wish the brutes & shaman would drop fine or pine wood. I'm quite desperate to get them

Pine trees are extremely abundant in the black forest, and fine wood can be easily obtained from the white birch trees you see frequently in the meadows and abundantly in the plains.

I am pretty happy with wood and rock. Between the coal furnace and fireplaces and building, wood is usually welcome, and rocks ... vanish in bulk when you loft terrain. I don't need that much fine wood: all I use it for is portal, and there is no shortage for that small amount, the plains has massive groves of fine wood trees.

I have 830 hours so far, I'm aware of this. But I'm thinking in terms of making greydwarfs more relevant. If I knew they dropped fine wood I'd actually go farming them. Right now I have a full chest of resin and dwarf eyes. Dwarfs attacking me constantly in droves in the black forest would be much more tolerable if I knew I was getting a fine wood for each one.

That's all i'm saying. Its certainly not a deal breaker that they don't drop fine wood, it would just make their constant interruptions less annoying.

I quoted the guy saying he is "desperate" for pine or fine wood.
