Tamed Lox where to keep them?
I've tamed 2 Lox in a Plains biome in a pit below and outside my base which is situated on a plateau I created via terraforming. They've breed twice now, pretty quickly, but the pit is almost overflowing with 4 adult Lox, so much so that they are stacking on top of each other almost able to walk out of the pit off the backs of Mom and Pops.

I'm curious if I bring them out of the pit, how close they'll stay and not despawn without a structure of some sort which would probably not last long in the Plains biome....is the solution to bring/ride them to a different, less aggressive biome?

can u make a saddle? they ATTTACK EVERYTHING. you can transport them to a meadows.
if u cant, maybe ask a friend/some 1 online to help.

u can build TONS of benches everywhere, so nothing can spawn.

this is how i have mine. got help from a friend who made me a saddle

You can transport a lox easily on the largest boat. And I have lox and wolves around my main base in the meadows and stay close enough to have never despawned yet.
Even had a lox give birth whilst I was riding it miles away from base and the baby lox remained in that location long enough to mature and then be ridden back.
On the other side of the world I have two lox near a mistlands biome and I rarely visit it and they are still hanging around fine.

i have a low stone fence wtih the double wood gate so I can corral them in. One side opens to the water so they can swim a bit.
They need a lot of space to breed. My fence keeps getting bigger and bigger. Now I keep around 10 in there most of the time.
Lots of workbenches so goblins and squitos dont spawn there.

I constructed a stone walled enclosure in the next door Meadow biome and hopefully they'll breed there, they do in my taming pit and it is pretty small; 4 Lox fill it up. This biome breeding enclosure is much bigger and should set up some meat production soon.

just make a stone and core beam barn until you've made a no spawn zone for mobs then let them out.

ive been trying to feed some lox but having trouble taming them got 1 trapped but still not tamed just using cloudberries

They can't have the exclamation point icon floating overhead and you need to be nearby and see the little hearts that appear. I did it all with cloudberries and I think some flax...

DId anyone managed to transport a lox with a ship playing alone? My lox ALWAYS jumps into water as soon a certain distance from land is reached

Nothing happens in game when you "aren't around" And tamed animals will not despawn wether you are there or not.

Stack of 10 cloudberries or barley should be more than enough.
