If I lose too many skill points I use devcommand "raiseskill clubs 50", where 'clubs' can be any other skill

There's a mod that has this option, maybe Valheim+ (?) , I haven't used any mods yet, only browsed.

I don't know if there's a switch in console commands to make it True/False; but I think there's one that you can just set the skill back to wherever it was.

If you can make the corpse run within the time limit, I think the skill loss is negated... I might be wrong though.

There's several mods that manage the skill reduction when you die.
No Death Penalties is one, i believe Dead Tweaks also does that (not sure) and i'm sure Valheim Plus does have a section about it.

Valheim+ has this, and because Valheim+ is anyway THE DEFINITION OF PERFECT GAMEOPTIONS i suggest to use Valheim+
Its so good that the lenght of the option config list start to become a issue on its own :steamhappy:.

Before i download valheim plus i just want to ask a question

Do the devs of the mod already changed alot of settings to make the game more enjoyable or do i need to do everything manually?

After installing the mod you need to start the game, then the mod write a config file

This config file is sorted by sections you need to activate
And then there are settings in the sections that need to activated too to work.
There are a few settings that come active inside the sections that come as "Activated = false" but thats only a few and if i remember right thats small settings it would make no sense to deactivate them.

I guess your Question is more if the mod change your stuff alone by installing, and that can be answered with a clear no. Without you activating stuff it changes nothing.

Btw a small tip
* Dont change the slots of crates !!!!
* Dont raise the Stack sizes
* Dont disable or pimp Structural integrity
All these stuff breaks if a ninjapatch breaks the mod. Means if you change the Stack size from 20 to 200 it would delete the 180 extra items.
Just use yopur brain, and ask yourself what will happen when you load a savegame without mod.

I change the ROWS on all my crates to 4, never had a single issue, why are you telling him to not change the number of slots? Just don't go over 4 and you don't have the slider.
I am also using 150% stack sizes, no issue.

Edit: Typo :D

REM i told him that these settings come with a risk. And that you never had a problem doesnt change that a Ninjapatch like the one we had today can break a/the mod.

And then all stuff in these extra Slots/Stacksizes is deleted that moment you start your savegame without the mod beeing working.

During stuff like the Disabled Skill Punishment just dont work until the mod it updated
