Seems no way to scale cauldron like meat rack?

TLDR - any way or mod to allow cooking more than 1 meal at a time via cauldron? Way too slow.

To cook more at once with the meat rack is pretty simple - add more racks over however many fires you want and this solution scales however much player desires. The practical limit would be so many racks that by time you place meat on all of them, first rack is already done cooking.

But with cauldron, it is driving me nuts having to craft 1 item at a time, like say carrot soup. I want to make couple stacks of carrot soup and no way to scale cauldron like meat racks. Just click 1 soup at a time, over and over.

Looked all over nexus and found zero mod that allows crafting multiple items at once. Is there just no way to modify the cauldron to allow some sort of higher scale production?

How would you propose modifying it? Type in the number you want?

It seems to me like the two are already essentially the same (one click per food item), except the cauldron is instantaneous, so there's no need to have multiple.

having the option for 5x craft like bronze wouldnt be bad, realistically you should be able to make more than one serving of stew at a time in a cauldron that size

I suppose that could work, but the list of items that you could craft are already quite large.

yeah maybe instead of listing them separately there could just be 2 craft buttons for x1 and x5

I would also think that you could use the cauldron like a brewing barrel. It should be fine to sit there all day.. and say give out multiple servings of a recipe.

I had kind of expected home and hearth to have more home stuff but ah well.

I guarantee I can cook more meals on a cauldron than people can cook on a meat rack in the same period of time.

By the time those five boar meats are done? I've got the soup and dessert for it. For everyone. And then some. XD

I once cooked 70 serpent stews in one go. It took 20 minutes and gave me a hand cramp, so I'm totally on board with cooking soup/stew in bulk and in the same way you ferment mead.

Maybe if you overcook it you get left with ooze or guck...

And speaking of mead...why can't we get drunk in the game? The idea of a tipsy viking lumberjack appeals to me.

Also would be cool to have like 3 to four swings in it or the option to chug it.

type in the number would be ideal. Make all you can from my inventory would be fine too, if a little annoying to control for shared ingredients (oops that was all my barley?).
One at a time was fine pre H&H but now, every 4-5 of them I randomly disconnect from the pot and have to walk up to it again, my character keeps taking a random step back from it.

The cauldron is not instantaneous - less than meat rack per item, sure -but progress bar on cauldron takes ~2-3 sec, so you can't even click rapidly to sequentially spam. Just click, wait, click, wait, etc.

The meat rack allows you to scale based on player preference. Don't mind waiting? Just use one rack. Want scale? Build 10+ and cook huge amount in nearly same time as 2 items on 1 rack.

My issue with cauldron is it can't scale. Ppl posted above decent solutions, A x5 button like bronze would be good. Even better would be quantity box and let you make however many seems reasonable for cauldron that size.

I don't expect to be able to type 1000, clearly that has to be a max but also clearly the capacity max of a cauldron that size should not be 1. Even 10 would be low given size of pot vs meal made.

will give it a try although mod author responded just recently this month that he's no longer working on the mod.

there is some conflicts with valheim plus, which i use, but a posted workaround might work

Or just make a mouse macro that clicks all (expected time for one craft +2sec)
