Cartography table

As a solo player it has little use for me, but I thought maybe a nice little perk of building it would be to reveal the Merchant. I have been scouring the map for literal days and have had no luck. Just thought i'd throw that out there.

Nope in solo it's only good for decoration.

When I tried it I was able to share map data between my alts on the same world without issue.

Seems like the game is getting more focused on mp at the expense of sp with the balancing and things like this.

A dedicated explorer/gatherer that only has the gear/skills, and foods needed for the job, a builder with their bags full of wood and stone, a cook with nothing but ingredients who never leaves the kitchen.

it all depends on how you want to play :)

My unsolicited opinion is that's pretty damn pointless and stupid.

If they have fun that way, then no it's not pointless and stupid, and you're just being venomous for literally no reason. It's inefficient and unnecessary, but then again so is 90% of everything we're going to build, we don't need actual houses in this game rather than just places for our crafting benches.

Nothing about the cartography table comes at the expense of sp.
