How to unlock the 2nd boat?

I got Fine Wood, but the boat hasn't been unlocked. What else do I need to get to unlock it?

Second boat as in the Karve or the Long Boat? The Karve you need copper. The Long Boat you need Iron.

Iron Nails.. specifically. Bronze nails for the Karve.

Most don't want to hear this. Mindless fun where you are an unstoppable force is the new norm. Thinking or discovering for yourself are almost dead in gaming.

Valheim is not exactly consistent on how to build things. Many things appear or would use nails IRL but dont in game while others could be made without; not to mention some "special items" that cant be made. (besides, every "begginers tip" guide tells people to skip the first raft)

Craft the Bronze Nails and you unlock the recipe for the 2nd boat.
Same goes for the third boat but with Iron Nails.
