Didnt get the recipes

We started a new world for the update, are now in swamps. Grew turnips and have entrails now, but didnt get any recipes for turnip stew and sausages, no new recipes, no new crafting items. Have the iron cooking station, but nothing new. Are we bugged???

You have thistle also? Don’t remember if it triggers the recipes or not but required for sausages.

No you need to get a caulron and upgrade it.

FFS guys, please read forums, there are tons of the same questions. The answer is - you need to upgrade your cauldron.

yes, I have thistle and everything that it used to require, also carrots

What do you mean upgrade cauldron???? I have a cauldron, didnt know you could upgrade it

So what you're saying is you didn't bother to look at any of the videos/patch notes to know what the changes are, then encountered said changes in the game and immediately assumed it should work the way it used to before a big update that changes a ton regarding recipes. Makes sense.

have you handled raw boar meat yet?

i found that I had to go through my chests and pick up all the old ingredients and mats, and the new ones like boar meat, to get the new recipies to unlock.

The upgrade Just got addes with H&H. IG added a spice rack, pots and pans, and butchertable. they upgrade your cauldron unlocking/enabling recipies, inlcuding ones that you used to get normally.

Had to rearange me cooking area to get them all close enough but its not much effort. The upgrades should be under the "crafting" tab of the build menu.

So here's the thing.. I picked up turnips/entrails. No new recipes popped up. The upgrade (spice rack) should have popped up to let me know it was craftable. It did not. Therefore I didnt look for it. So there is something wrong.
