well i don't know what am missing since the game doesn't tell you what thing you didn't scan since i pretty much scan everything and also collect everything that was showed on the map i don't know what to search now

I figured out what I was missing by going through my taxonomy logs. In my case the only incomplete species is the bloomfan, which is missing the image and one tab. On that tab it even says what kind of sample I need.

I've gone round and round in circles in the Bloom trying to find that sample without any luck

I actually snagged it before going into the cave and then used the sample at some point without thinking!

You want to go south of the cave entrance in The Bloom until you see a bloom fan, to the east of it there's a narrow corridor between the ridge and a boulder. The sample is there.

2) Take the NE path until you get to a bloomfan.
3) On the next node NE of the bloomfan you should find a path to the east if you scan
4) Take the path east and it ends at the sample.
