buttons to do the moves? Are you talking about the poses? those don't require you to press buttons on your controller.
Don't know if I can help further, but if you can provide specifics I might. Or someone in the discord may know.

In order to activate the pose to do any of the moves, index requires you press and hold down the B button, or it won't activate. Holding the B buttons to use the poses ALSO sets the hand distance. You can try it with the triggers, but the poses only read you using them about a quarter of the time.

None of this would be an issue if I had an option to set arm distance, then lock it in place, but at no point does the game offer you that option

weird. It should only be hand rotation and position. Nothing else should matter after you've already calibrated. If you haven't already, check the Buckethead discord. Perhaps someone there knows better. I do not use Index myself unfortunately.

Hi Ottertime!

It is not required to hold nor press any buttons whenever you're performing moves.
Yeah, I'm using the Index and I've never needed to press buttons. At the beginning of the game, it asks you to hold the buttons just to calibrate. Everything else just requires you to strike a pose.

Well, I'm in the game and the poses don't activate without the buttons. I'll try validating files first and see what happens

Did it work?

If it didn't, there are a lot of players who would love to teach you how to perform moves. We have a Discord server where you can reach them easily: https://discord.com/invite/rSaTNYU4CF
