Questions from a new player

Hi guys,

I have started UWO a few weeks ago, without ever playing it before and i've already clocked a little over 50 hrs in the game. Having said that, I still have a few questions that i couldnt find in google or the wiki.

1) Schools - I already went to Sagres and enrolled in a school from the Adventure Instructor (i chose the Adventure type character with Excavator job). I got my title Student, i changed my clothes to the student ones and started doing quests. I also finished two exams - the beginner and intermediate and i got two ships. I also finished a Research for an Oxford dude. BUT when i go to Pisa to enrol for the advanced - it wouldnt let me. The receptionist says they dont accept new Voyagers, and the adventure quest giver says im not specialised in the topic yet. So my question is - how do I enrol for the advanced school and finally graduate?

2) Storage (as actual storage not the skill) - My character inventory has a limit of 50 - is there a place /storage where i can store my items apart from the Captain's Bag and the Binder ? Or is that limited to 50 throughout the game?

3) Charts (as Journal > Charts, not charting as map investigation) - I am playing for England and I have the north sea, greenland, western/southern europe charts, but how do I obtain others? For example south africa or northern scandinavia? Do i need to make a voyage in those waters for first time and I will automatically get the chart, or how's that work?

4) Could someone please explain the difference between Horizontal and Vertical sails?

Hey, Also a new-ish player...
Played once a long time ago and starting again with a new account/character.

I would love information on this also.
I have a chart for North EU (started in London) but I also seem to have somehow picked up a chart for E.Coast North America, no idea how/where.
I cam across this thread in my search for how to actually enroll at school.. only guide I could find was for Merchant, and I'm Adventure/Fisher, and have seen Zero information about schools at all from GM/Quests.
Community seems pretty quiet though, so not holding my breath.

Any school-like buildings outside of Sagres don't have any real functions at this point (they used to, before Sagres was introduced as a replacement)

For other questions, it is better to ask in-game (world chart) where active players can answer in ore detai

I ended up finding it during some exploration.
