swordplay proficiency

I have fought on land and won but my proficiency does not increase, how do you increase swordplay skill?

Hi,

It ranks if you fight higher level NPC's than your own level...that being said, make sure you wear gear that has high defense and try to get a job with swordplay skill that is "preferred"

Without knowing your Maritime level and the levels of the NPC you are fighting as well as the gear you are wearing, it is hard to give you full proper advice.

At the FaceBook Fan Group, I get a lot of gear from quests and give it away. So come join I may have gear that you can wear depending on your Fame Levels

so if im around total level 18 around 10 ish maybe a little lower in battle level i cant fight the level 4 guys i find on land and get anything from it?

Maritime level 10? Fight lvl 10+ NPC

I Just got this armour from a quest you can have tomorrow if you like. Has 45 Defense but needs you to have minimum 3000 Fame total of all three classes to wear it. I may have better weapons as well as helmets
