Am i wrong or am i right?
I am nearly finished with the whole game, just got few more costumes to get but, i do want to get that other last steam achievement the 1% one but yeah 10,000 soul gems is quite steep when i've mainly spent so much on the costume store already to only have like 31 left when i've quited for today.

So is the last hub world ( Pearly Gates ) the best for grinding the gems? I like to think it is due to many breakable gem spots and you even got the red apple tree or is there some other place in the game that is more recommended to go to for this.

10,000 is obnoxiously grindy!
I've been farming Flavor Peaks, lots of breakables/gems in a relatively compact space, going in the restaurant mopping a bunch of gems and exiting, as it resets the breakables outside.

I managed to get that achievement naturally through the game from exploring the levels. Just breaking whatever I can along the path and gathering any large crystals I found allowed me to get it by the time I got to The Jungle. I also spent some gems on a couple cosmetics along the way, so my best guess it's based on TOTAL gems gathered, not what you currently have in your wallet.

If you're looking for the farm, but not the grind, gambling is a good lazy option. I plopped Nate in front of the shard slot machine and turned on an autoclicker and after an hour I earned about 5,000 shards. It's slow, it's inefficient, but it'll get you your achievement and the money you need to buy any of the cosmetics you still need to get. It's just incredibly time consuming.

Yeah agreed like i stated i bought lot of the costumes to get the other steam achievements by time i had this 1% achievement in my scoops, i really didn't have really any gems to achieve it making it quite a grind to get there so yep it really was obnoxiously grind.

But hey i got it on the 10 of march aka like 2 weeks later from this post as no one responded so i stuck to doing a few laps around Pearly Gates, if i recall took me like 13 laps before i even reached the target. You could say i became a speedrunner for that level alone, seeing how many times i went from the start to the end area of that hub world over and over, i really did start to do it really fast with each lap i did.

But yeah your way sounds like a far more better strat, seeing as objects only reset on like a 25-30 min timer if i recall rightly so just going in and out to reset them sounds much faster then what i went through.

Yeah guess you died way less then me and didn't really spend much at all on costumes to get it. But this talk of guess its based on total gems gathered and not what you currently have is a BS talk, you really do need at least 10,000 (duhh or over) to buy it.

I do remember very well trying, to find i was not allowed. If anyone was able to do without the price tag then somehow you clearly bugged it out as it wasn't meant to do that unless you had that amount of gems or over on you. Would make a good speedrun skip if someone found out how to cheese the gem price tag could save quite bit of time. Or just do what you do and not spend really any gems till you got to that point.

I didn't bother with them, cause you know hell + gambling sounds like a very bad combo. For real it made me belive that they would be utterly evil with the rewards. Nice to know they not as evil as i would of imagine them to be. Also that's quite surprising hell would even be so lenient on its gamba winings %'s, good on hell to be better then a real life casino lol.
