Am I dumb or is there no Marimo route?

I read on the wiki and some walkthrough online that there's a marimo route, but I'm not sure if it was just the CG for going to the beach 3 times since I can't get Marimo in the actualy route specific scene(s).

Same here, played AF back then and it has marimo route, but it seems they removed it here, cmiiw, they also removed marimo route at extra

Someone maybe know the route, since mine keeps getting to kasumi despite never choosed her options

Yeah, I can't get on Marimo's route, either. I'll be more than a little miffed if it was taken out.

There's still a Marimo route in Extra, with the 18+ patch.

Yeah, that's the problem. Most didn't patch it or had the chance to, it was sort of hilarious and I guess it would be the same for this release IF they didn't cut it. Why couldn't they just release the patch like many other games do in Steam? I wonder if it's pure lazyness or just "I don't like it, so they will have to deal with it".

If an entire route got removed from AF when it was added to photonmelodies then the cut content is even worse than I thought, but I'd like some more confirmation as to that actually being the case. I'd check myself but I can barely get more than a minute into the initial AF release before it crashes on me.

Sigh, the "route" for Marimo is literally one sex scene, yes, it was removed, because beside said sex scene there is nothing else.

Yuki, I can understand if you don't care much for the missing content. However, that doesn't invalidate what other people feel when it comes to the content that is missing. Marimo's route is more than just a sex scene; for some it is a cathartic/happier end with a character that they cherish (considering some the events that players read through in Alternative).

Answer: what was removed is a H-Scene. If you classify that as a removal of the "route" then go ahead.

As the biggest Marimo fangirl around, I'm seriously considering requesting a refund of photonmelodies if the publisher isn't even going to offer a patch to restore any cut Marimo content, even if it is "just a scene".
I didn't mind the fade to black before anything explicit of Marimo's scene in the censored Extra because it least it was still mostly there and I can see the full thing in the uncensored PC version, but with this it seems there's no legitimate way to read her stuff which is the primary reason I even wanted Altered Fable translated in the first place.

From what I have read, you've been so dismissive in this thread, for people voicing their dissension over the lack of this *specific* scene, that I simply believe you "don't care" for this part in Altered Fable. (Am I mistaken?) As for what that has to do with anything, readers can hold an emotional investment for these characters. You come across as someone upset with others, just for stating they'd want it returned in game.

Just as in any story, catharsis is sought as a way to give closure, and Marimo's route was that for some. It is a meaningful character moment, as it does draw into the thought process of Takeru towards Marimo. It's not only about the sex, but in every specific route (and I do say route, as the following scene branches off depending on who has the highest affection) Takeru's emotional time spent, proxy for the player/reader, with the other characters... except for Marimo.

Person asked the question as to what was removed, I gave a straightforward answer. What was removed was a sex scene, no branching, nothing, simple, everything else with her is still in the game.
