Report a translation problem
Also make sure you have the controller plugged in and powered on before starting the sim.
In the input panel click on 'Switch device' to make sure the sim can see the controller you are trying to use and that it is set to active
(Also I pulled up real flight to test the usb. its currently working in real flight.)
I think it would be best to use your dx6 by plugging a drone in via micro USB and using betaflight's joystick emulation

This is only possible if you have an F4 or F7 board with Betaflight3.4, Betaflight3.4.1 or Betaflight3.5
Hopefully that suits you, I'm not really sure how else to trouble shoot the 'real flight' controller without seeing it
