Yaw Not Recognized X-Lite
I have an X-Lite transmitter, and every channel is working except for the Yaw. In the standard input menue none of the axes are triggered when I use my yaw. If I hit the advanced button it does, but I can't configure it. Windows also recognizes the yaw input. Any idea on how to fix this?

1. Turn on and connect radio via USB, with blank model in OpenTX

2. Start FPV air 2

3. Press 'Taranis' preset button in input panel

4. Press 'Calibrate Ranges' in input panel then follow the instructions that pop up

5. Close FPV air 2

6. Open FPV air 2 and calibrate ranges again

I figured it out. My logitech joystick was also plugged in. Even though it was set to disabled in the FPV program, it caused the yaw stick to not be recognized by the x-lite. Unplugging the joystick solved the problem.

Have you looked at all 3 pages of axiis? Also, make sure you're using a blank/defause model in OpenTX

I have looked through all three pages. By default it shows Axis 17 - Axis 20 being my sticks. Axis 17 is the one that isn't working. Axis 5 will act like a digital switch if I move the stick left, but there is no inbetween, and no effect if I move it right.

I tried creating a new default model in the controller, but that didn't work either. All 4 axis show up as working in the bottom section of the advanced controller mode, so the application is reading the axis, but they are all out of wack. At least that shows the sim is recognizing the input, it's just not accesing it at the input screen when Taranis is chosen.

Don't worry if the coloured bar moves strangely, once you calibrate ranges the struck preview should behave nicely. Just make sure the radio is ready to go before you start the Sim, hit the Taranis button and calibrate ranges

Unfortunately it still isn't working. None of the axiis show a functioning yaw axis on all 3 pages. No matter what I pick when I go to calibrate it doesn't do anything for yaw. Based on the advanced options the game is detecting the axis, but it doesn't in the standard input section.

A developer of this app has indicated that this post answers the original topic.
