How to fix the recent saves issue
Hello people, I decided to make a thread to help with this issue instead of leaving the advice buried in another thread. The issue is steam won't sync the save files with the cloud for some reason with games that don't allow turning off cloud saves for the game from the games properties, general. I have found two ways to fix the issue, neither of which are perfect but will help you continue playing where you left off. I only know how to do this on windows, so linux and apple people would need to figure out how to adapt this to their systems. After some testing it seems that until Fix 1 is done, the game acts as if cloud sync is disabled even if cloud sync in enabled.

Fix 1
You need to open the steam console menu first. Do this by pressing the windows key and r at the same time. Copy and paste steam://open/console and hit enter. Then copy and paste testappcloudpaths 888790 in the console and press enter. Your game should have returned to normal. I want to stress this is a temporary fix, any time steam closes completely you will have to do all of this again. Every time. This is the simpler of the two fixes.

Fix 2
You can do this instead of the previous fix. Honestly, since Fix 1 is pretty easy if annoying and won't cause any issues when/if steam fixes this bug I would just use it instead, but here's another fix if you want to try it.
You can open steam in a browser, login, and got to https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage. This should be your personal set of cloud save files. Find Sabbat of the witch and download everything you see. I would recommend making a new folder in file explorer so you can keep them in one place for easy management but you do you. kaneko009911 pointed out in another thread you can find these files under (C:) ->Program files (x86) -> Steam -> userdate -> whatever the numbered file is, its unique to you -> 888790 -> remote. No need to download from the cloud saves, thanks kaneko009911! Next, open file explorer, switch to view, and make sure hidden items is enabled. Then go Local Disk (C:)->Users->Whatever your account is named (not the public folder) ->AppData (this is hidden unless you enable hidden items) ->Roaming->Yususoft->NekoNyan->SabbatOfTheWitch. copy and paste everything you saved from the cloud into here, clicking to replace files with the same name. Congratulations, the game will now launch as if nothing is wrong. Unfortunately, these files will not update with the cloud if you implement Fix 1 and if you do Fix 1, that in a way over rides this in the sense that lets say you play for an hour using this fix, quit the game, and implement Fix 1. The game will be back to how it was the last time files were synced with the cloud. However, if you close steam out steam completely and reopen the game, it will play based off the files you saved using this fix. I realize that was not a very clear explanation but I can't really think of a good way to describe it, you would have to play around with it to figure out what I'm talking about.

Anyway, thats the two fixes. Again, I would recommend fix 1 over fix 2 but the information is there if you want it. As an aside, fix 1 may work with other games doing this, just replace 888790 with whatever that game's id is. Hope this helped.

I lost all of my recent saves. The only saves in my saved games is from February 2021 and earlier - nothing from the last two weeks when I started playing it anew!!!!!!!!!
None of the fixes above solved my problem.
