But the version via Steam has a lack of that? Maybe it has to do something with the patch/adjustments they have made for win8/win10 support....
Regarding "Only making "low level" combot parts" issue, very rarely I've seen a couple of AIs ever build advanced combot parts, one so far I've seen was from an enemy AI rimtech building two forcefield combots with dual wielding lazer gunz, but it's hard to come across those that often.
I really hope there's a solution/mod to improve the AIs in this game especially in skirmish.
Now, i'm still testing, but at least they build research buildings and different combot parts once in a while.
I don't know who did it and what exactly they changed, but it got better, really need someone to post what was changed whenever a game gets an update.
Sadly there isn't any guide. Some are self-explanatory, any AI with a stupid name or an incompetent sounding one is an incompetent AI. Any Ai with land in its name spams land stuff. Ai with air in its name spams air. At least, I think thats the case.
