Does this game work with Hamachi?
As it says on the tin, i was hoping to get into multiplayer with this with my buddies so any help would be appreciated.

If not, anyone know how i can get multiplayer working with this if possible?

Thanks.

I used hamachi back before the re-release and it worked for me. It depends on who your friend is, your internet connection, what firewalls and internet ports you have unblocked etc.

So far i've had two friends try to connect with hamachi and both times they couldn't see my server.

Is there anything i should do in advance to make this work like a firewall perhaps?

I find that if you can't get hamachi to work, programs like tunggle do it better. Otherwise if you would rather stick with hamachi, try opening the ports listed in the offical website

TCP 12975 (initiator port)
TCP 32976 (session port)

Tunngle went under a little while ago unfortunately and is gone for good, and steam version of MF is not compatible with game ranger.

Are those ports for MF or for Hamachi?

I've never had issues with hamachi before, This is the first time something has gone wrong like this.

Oh wow I wasn't aware tunggle went down. hmmm, well I don't know what else to do in this instance. The ports are for hamachi.'

Edit: apparently gameranger still works and supports metal fatigue. It works very similarly to tunggle.

I tried that but apparantly steam version isn't supported, i tried to link the files but it said it was the wrong game

I found a way to make game ranger recognize the program. Simply move the metal fatigue folder somewhere outside of the original directory. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common is default location
