Hello guys, do you think there is a way to produce an improved version of the game (mainly HD textures), a kind of unofficial mod?

I dont think so. The game use an old driver call Glide, and this version have a software that emulet it. The other thing is that, i don't know if there is come program to open the files of the game and change it. But is a great idea!

I'd probably be able to jump into a coffin, if this game ever got a remaster à la Resident Evil 2, having seen it all and neverending joy.

I found a way to extract textures and 3D meshes from the game using this tutorial:

I would pay to see a remaster, or maybe even Metal Fatigue 2, with a new faction and added more combot parts, having new maps to play skirmish, make it possible to play in multiplayer, i think i would play it for years man ! :D Fingers crossed, lets hope someone hears our prayers.

the text for menus/mission briefings was hard to read back in the day, now it's almost impossible to read it...

Plus some models have chunks of missing textures that let you see right through them.

For those who experience bad resolution problem. You can override game settings in your gpu control panel. Set every antaliasing to the maximum value makes the game pretty beautiful and makes text in game readable as well. I'm playing it with a 2560x1440 and its nice.
